Advanced 3D Modeling fun...

After a long break of things it's back to school!

I'm not quite sure if this or this will be graded to harshly but I still have work to do before it's due which is *gasp* today...

Lame

(Excuse my sentence structure; it’s late or rather early depending on your time zone)

I had so much trouble last night making my "Game Design Script" 1st I tried making it flash because I thought that would give me extra brownie points (for coolness) instead of a PowerPoint presentation. Except I couldn’t get it to work right and I had to post it before 12:00pm. So I made a quick PowerPoint file and attempted to upload it, of course it wouldn’t let me so I tried e-mail it to my teacher which also didn't work $#@!$#@$. Since I missed my deadline because of their stupid servers I went ahead and fixed the flash version that posted fine, figures. So go ahead and look at the hastily assembled version.

In other school related news I got a job at the library 8am till class on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s so now I’ll be able to keep this site up indefinitely!

Digital Storytelling

My one-week worth of break is coming to an end this Monday when I start school again for the fall semester. I’m looking forward to another Game Design story related class online. This time it looks like we will be making some sort of movie or story using still images. This sounds a lot like my storyboarding class except that it will be easier to snap a picture of something than to sit down and draw everything frame by frame. In my 3d review Ruth recommended that I should mess around with game mods. I want something that will let me modify the characters (obviously) and the games story. I guess this mean’s that I’ll be headed to the game store to pick up some new pc games. This fact alone reminds me why I love my major.

I have until 5:00pm to fix/change my 3d animation files. I really want to do good (and pass this class this time..) I have uploaded my progress on my fk walk; I still have a lot to do so that means no sleep for me tonight. It's a good thing that I don't have anything to do tomorrow other than to drop these files off. I can't wait for these weeks to be over with two more days and my summer semester is over!!!!! Hopefully I'll keep up my current trend of good grades and get a rest during break and maybe a job... :-)
